As a member of the Avaloq development team, you will be part of a group of highly skilled, motivated and dynamic people that are responsible for a central part of the Avaloq Banking Suite. You will design, implement, maintain and test innovative software solutions to meet the client's needs. Your key tasks

• Develop and implement new features based on internal and external requirements

The Support Manager is responsible for providing first-level support for the company's internal tools, including issue triaging, troubleshooting, and user enablement. A key aspect of the role is managing access control for both internal and external users, ensuring that permission requests are handled efficiently and securely.

In addition, the role includes responsibility for executing regular housekeeping activities aligned with audit policies and compliance procedures, maintaining the integrity and security of systems. The Support Manager also oversees the global OnCall support rotation, ensuring reliable, around-the-clock coverage for critical systems.

Your team
As a member of the Global Release Management team, you will be part of a group of highly skilled, motivated and dynamic people that are responsible for release management services for Avaloq products. You will be part of the team that provides the core release management services in the location Switzerland and will be responsible for building and releasing various software artifacts.

Your task
As a Release Manager, you are entrusted of the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage software releases for different Avaloq Products
• Developing, monitoring and enforcing software development lifecycle
• Coordinate with technical teams for CI/CD related topics
• Collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to ensure smooth release processes and deployments
• Build-up and disseminate release management know-how to peers

• On-call service (7x24)

• Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Sciences / Engineering / Mathematics & Physics or similar educational background
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Release Manager, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Solid experience of the software development life cycle

You will work alongside experienced engineers and domain experts who share our passion for delivering real innovation in coreless banking.

Our goal is to create responsive, intuitive and visually appealing applications that meet the highest standards of performance and usability.

Your key tasks:

• Design and implement responsive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Develop high-quality, scalable web applications with a focus on user experience (UX) and performance.
• Apply Material Design principles to create consistent and attractive UI components.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various device types.
• Optimize frontend code for performance, maintainability and reusability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior frontend developers.
• Stay updated with the latest frontend trends, tools and technologies to continuously improve the product.

Your expertise:

• Strong expertise in Angular 2+ (or other modern JavaScript frameworks) for building dynamic web applications; Vue is a plus.
• Proven experience in responsive design and frontend development best practices, ensuring seamless experiences across devices.
• Deep understanding of CSS3, HTML5 and JavaScript, with the ability to build well-structured and maintainable code.
• Experience with Material Design guidelines and creating reusable UI components.
• Proficiency in optimizing applications for performance, scalability and security.
• Familiarity with frontend build tools, such as Webpack or Gulp, and version control systems like Git.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, user-centric applications.
