Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sales Support who is responsible for supporting day-to-day coordination in the Sales team. This role will provide back-office support, act as a sales hunter, and ensure that the end-to-end sales operations process runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Check tariff and coordinate with Local pricing/procurement/Overseas offices/agents to obtain relevant rates.
- Prepare quotations based on instructions from the sales team and submit them to sales/customers in a timely manner.
- Follow up on quotations with customers (existing) or sales (new) and work in the Ticketing System.
- Provide detailed feedback from customers to the pricing/procurement team.
- Prepare Job Instruction Form/Customer SOP and cost summary, and hand over to operations.
- Assist Sales or coordinate with Operations staff to update customers' reports as required.
- Handle escalations from Operations for differences on actual overseas invoices vs. cost summary and on Commercial items in quotations.
- Use software solutions such as Ticketing System and Tariff/Rate Tools.
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in freight forwarding sales support, including air and ocean freight operations, customs procedures, and international shipping documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM systems or freight management software.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines; good teamwork; customer-oriented mindset.

- Input all costs into the system for Shipping Lines, Co-loaders, Breakbulk agents, and Cartage Companies; attach relevant rate cards to the Australian shared Drive.
