Job Description:

Main accountabilities

  • Support finance users in day-to-day operations regarding usage of SAP S/4HANA and Analysis for Office(AFO) tool
  • Configuration of FI modules including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets
  • Participate in business requirement gathering and analysis
  • Based on user requirements, and inputs from the Business Analysts, develop functional and technical specifications for SAP solutions and work on front end tools
  • Documentation and maintenance of operational guides
  • Ability to train the users on SAP S/4HANA GL/FA/AP/GR modules
  • Work collaboratively with the Testing Centre of Excellence to ensure that the developed solution functions correctly
  • Work with technical team, business systems analyst to resolve any issues/defects from the Finance users

Qualifications/Skills

  • Business, accounting and/or finance degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry with extensive knowledge of financial analyses and reporting
  • Good skills with business processing analysis and documentation
  • 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting SAP S/4HANA GL/FA/AP/GR modules
  • Experience in working with interfaces with SAP (both SAP and non-SAP environments)
  • Proven ability to provide technical direction for complex SAP S/4 finance system issues
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate at most levels of the organization
  • Strong data analytics skills
  • Knowledge of Insurance and/or financial services industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences and work with business partners as well as infrastructure teams
  • Experience in IFRS17 projects and Tableau reporting tool are preferred.

Nice to Have

  • SAP Certification: Application Associate (SAP S/4 HANA for Financial Accounting)
  • Integration experience with other SAP systems (BW/4 HANA, Ariba, Concur)
  • Knowledge or experience with SAP BW AFO reports development and troubleshooting.
